Time management is the most critical skill a student must develop before any examination. Many students study hard but fail to perform well simply because they do not manage their time wisely. Here is a complete strategy to manage your time effectively before the exam:

• Start Early (30 Days Before Exam): Divide your entire syllabus into small daily chunks. If you have 11 SST chapters, target 1 chapter every 2-3 days. Never leave everything for the last week as it creates panic and poor retention.

• Read the Paper First (5 Minutes): When you get the question paper, spend the first 5 minutes reading all questions completely. Do not start writing immediately. This helps you plan your time and identify easy questions to attempt first.

• Handwriting and Presentation: Write neatly and legibly. A neat paper makes a positive impression on the examiner. Use ruler for underlining headings. Keep your answer sheet clean with no scribbling or repeated overwriting.
• Review in Last 10 Minutes: Always save the last 10 minutes of the exam for reviewing your answers. Check for silly mistakes, incomplete answers, or missed questions.

• Exam Day Morning Routine: Wake up at least 2 hours before the exam. Have a light nutritious meal — avoid heavy or oily food. Quickly revise your formula notebook or mind maps for 30 minutes. Do not start studying new topics on exam day morning.
